Essay Topics for Your AP Exam - Using the Doctor Who Villains For Your AP Exams
Essay Topics for Your AP Exam - Using the Doctor Who Villains For Your AP ExamsThe Doctor Who villain Antichrist is one of the essay topics that you can use for your AP exam. Why do I suggest this? The reason is because the Doctor Who villains of this series have a great deal to say about modern day society and how it has changed in recent times. When you study Doctor Who, you will find that each of the villains in the series have a lot to say about contemporary society. How can you study these villains and use them as essay topics? Well, you can start by studying one of the most recent characters in the series, the Ninth Doctor, and his enemies, the Master and the Daleks.Firstly, consider the Tenth Doctor's initial meeting with the Master on the planet Earth. The Doctor tells the Master he is from a dying planet and that he will regenerate soon. This suggests that, in the world of Doctor Who, humanity is rapidly dying off and there is no hope for any type of recovery. As far as the Do ctor is concerned, the Doctor, despite all the changes in his life, is an old-fashioned figure who wants to go back to the time of his childhood. The Doctor wants to go back to the time of the First Doctor because he believes that a lot of the changes are a direct result of human meddling. This leads the Doctor to believe that there is hope in the regeneration of the universe, or the Fourth Doctor's incarnation. The Tenth Doctor's character and philosophy on life have greatly influenced the Tenth Doctor's enemy, the Master. What does this mean? It means that if you are able to use the Tenth Doctor's philosophy to help you analyze the different essays you encounter, then you will make greater progress in the first few weeks of the exam. The Master, after arecent regeneration, now sees his past and future mirroring Antichris. He has seen the Doctor battle death and regeneration. His goal is to achieve immortality, using the Doctor's knowledge and philosophy of life to achieve his own ve rsion of immortality. The Master sees that the Doctor has defeated death, and although he has defeated regeneration, he has not faced death. The Master therefore believes that humanity is doomed unless he is able to have immortality. In order to achieve immortality, he must go back in time and prevent the Doctor from ever regenerating, causing him to die.We all know that humanity has survived many centuries, and the Ninth Doctor has survived. The Tenth Doctor has survived, and the Master has survived.
